Why I love day training

What is day training? It's the perfect solution to your training dilemma. A dog trainer comes to your house while you are at work and trains your dog. Repeated daily, or at least several times per week, this allows your dog to learn new behaviors quickly. Once a week (or once every other week), you meet with the trainer to see what your dog has learned, and how you can easily maintain those behaviors. For example, while you're at work, your dog is learning to come when called, walk nicely on leash, fetch, stay on his bed, or jump through a flaming hoop. Just kidding, on that last one. (But not really, if you want.)
I'm not saying that day training is right for every dog, for every owner, or for every training goal. But here are some reasons that it works well:
- Leave the training to the professionals. We love training dogs. And we're good at it.
- We show you what to do once your dog already knows what he should do.
- Your dog gets a welcome break in the middle of his day.
- Customize your training plan to teach your dog behaviors that are important to you.
We also offer an all-day day training program, which is especially well-suited to puppies, as it includes training, socialization, exercise, and rest times.
