Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between rolling enrollment and regular Kinderpuppy class?
The rolling enrollment Kinderpuppy class, which is currently offered on Wednesday evenings at 7pm at Dog Gone Happy, features one obedience behavior, one behavior topic, and one socialization category each week, and the topics repeat every 6 weeks. You can join this class any time and attend for 6 weeks, and you'll get all the lessons. If you have to miss a week, you may make it up the next time that topic comes around (6 weeks later), provided there is space available. Puppies come to the first week of class for the rolling enrollment class. Play sessions are included in both classes.
What are your rates?
We offer competitive rates for dog training services. While we have a basic fee structure, we may make adjustments based on individual needs. For more information, please give us a call.
What types of payment to you accept?
We are happy to accept cash, checks, credit cards, and PayPal.
Are classes refundable?
Class registration fees are refundable up to seven days before the class start date. There are no refunds after this date. If you cannot complete your class due to your dog's injury, illness, or onset of heat cycle, you will receive a 50% discount to be applied to a future class. No discounts are given after the third class.
Do you allow children in class?
Yes! We love children in dog training classes. Our classes are designed to strengthen the bond between dogs and all of their family members. Kids can be great dog trainers, and they are fantastic for puppy socialization purposes. Because it is nearly impossible to focus on dog training while supervising young children in a class environment, we require a second adult to accompany kids under the age of 10.
Do dogs have to be spayed or neutered to participate in class?
No. No fooling around behind the bleachers, though.
Can I observe a class before registering?
Absolutely. Just contact Katrin at 503.719.7973 or firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know when you'd like to come.
