What is Plucky Puppy?
Plucky Puppy is a full service dog training and pet care business. Although we specialize in puppy training, we have experience with all types of pets at all stages of life and health. We offer dog training in Portland, OR, and pet sitting, boarding and dog walking in Portland, OR and the San Francisco East Bay Area, including Oakland, Berkeley, and Emeryville. Our training philosophy is based on scientific principles of animal learning. We use positive reinforcement methods that work quickly and make training fun for puppies and people, especially kids (you won't hear any "don't try this at home" disclaimers with us). Katrin Greim, MA, CTC, CPDT (and owner of Plucky Puppy Pet Care) is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer who graduated with honors from the San Francisco SPCA's Academy for Dog Trainers and the Marin Humane Society's Canine Behavior Academy.
